Dressy Casual/Semiformal. The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the family "Finca," something like a ranch but not quite. You can dress up but we recommend not wearing high heels. You will be walking on unpaved, hilly and sometimes rocky surfaces. Also, it's Costa Rica, so the weather can be unpredictable. Even though it's the summer there in December, and you might be expecting very hot weather all day (82-88 F), most likely as soon as the sun goes down, it will get chilly (62-68). So bring a light jacket or shawl for later into the night.
